Bill Kronschnabel has been the Commissioner of the Northern
Collegiate Hockey Association since April 2002. He also served as
the NCHA Supervisor of Officials from 1998 to 2005.
Kronschnabel had been a collegiate hockey official for over 25
years. During his career, he has worked the NCHA and MIAC
Championships and the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Kronschnabel is a past chair of the NCAA Division III Women's Ice
Hockey Committee. While Supervisor of Officials for the NCHA, he
also worked in the same role for the Minnesota Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference and the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association.
He is the head rules clinician and supervisor of state tournament
officials for the Minnesota State High School League and has served
12 years on the National Federation Ice Hockey Rules Committee. He
played college hockey at St. Mary’s, Minn., University from
1967-71.
He resides in St. Paul and is a partner in the law firm of
Kueppers, Kronschnabel & Daly.
