Green Knights Two Wins From Title
DE PERE - New York's North Country hosts the NCAA Division III
Frozen Four as four teams converge on Lake Placid, N.Y., to
determine the 2012 national champion. St. Norbert College is aiming
for its third national title in five years after capturing the
crown in Lake Placid in 2008 and last year in Minneapolis. Norwich
University most recently won the title in 2010, while Oswego State
University won its only title in 2007. Amherst College is making
its first Frozen Four appearance.
St. Norbert will face Norwich in the first national semifinal at 3
p.m. CDT Friday at Herb Brooks Arena. Oswego State will face
Amherst at 6:30 p.m. CDT Friday. The national championship game is
set for 6 p.m. Saturday.
