Daleiden scores a pair, UW-River Falls wins again at UW-Stevens Point
Judy Daleiden scored two of UW-River Falls' seven goals Saturday
afternoon in a win at UW-Stevens Point. The 7-2 victory
finished a sweep of the Pointers and kept the Falcons undefeated at
6-0. The Falcons' 12 points are good for sole possession of
first place in the NCHA.
Daleiden and Crysta Lowell both scored in the opening period to
give UWRF a 2-0 lead. Both goals were the first of the season
for both players.
Daleiden added her second of the game at 10:32 of the second
period. Kait Mason assisted on the goal, which would prove to
be the game-winner.
UW-Stevens Point got third period goals from Hannah Smith and Ava
Plamondon.
UW-River Falls hosts St. Olaf on Tuesday night, Novemeber 22.
UW-Stevens Point is off until December 2-3 when it plays a
home-and-home series with conference foe St. Norbert.
