Around the Rinks ...

Schaub's Helpers: The first two points of UW-Stevens Point defenceman Nicole Schaub's career were quite memorable.  Last weekend the freshman assisted on both game-winning goals in back-to-back one-goal wins over St. Norbert.  She also played solid defense for the Pointers in holding the Green Knights to just one goal on the weekend.

Herring Sets Records: Lake Forest's Kim Herring became the all-time leading point scorer in Forester history last Friday when she recorded a goal and assist against Finlandia.  The next day she reached the 100-point mark with another goal and assist.  Herring was the 2010 NCHA Player of the Year.
