SAINT PAUL – St. Norbert forward Henriette Ostergaard (Herning, Denmark) has been selected Player of the Week in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association’s Women’s Conference for the week of October 23-29. Ostergaard notched four points last weekend as the Green Knights went 1-0-1 against non-conference foes.
In a 6-3 win over visiting St. Mary’s last Friday, Ostergaard scored the first of what would become a five-goal outburst by St. Norbert in the third period. The goal came with St. Mary’s leading 3-1. Ostergaard added an assist and another goal as the Green Knights pulled away.
In a 1-1 tie last Saturday afternoon, Ostergaard set up the game-tying goal with just 36 seconds remaining in regulation time. Laurel Hill (Huntsville, ON.) scored the power play goal that vaulted St. Norbert to the tie against No. 8-ranked Concordia-Moorhead.
