Green Knights and Pointers to Go Toe-To-Toe Saturday in NCAA Quarterfinal
DE PERE - St. Norbert College and UW-Stevens Point meet in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time since 1998 when two longtime rivals meet at 7 p.m. Saturday at K.B. Willett Arena in Stevens Point. St. Norbert enters with a 14-game winning streak, while the Pointers have won 20 consecutive games. The defending national champion Green Knights seek their 13th Frozen Four trip. The Pointers are pursuing their 11th Frozen Four appearance and are attempting to be the first team in NCAA Division III history to finish a season without a loss. The winner advances to the NCAA Division III Frozen Four onâ€ˆMarch 22-23 at an on-campus site to be announced Sunday by the NCAA.
The game is sold out and no tickets will be available for sale at the door prior to the game.
